Placed in the home

All Clear is designed to sit in a bedroom, hallway, or common area like any everyday home device.

Listens for signs of distress

The system is being developed to recognize sounds and patterns associated with falls, calls for help, or unusual inactivity.

If something appears wrong, the device can respond with a verbal check-in like: “Are you okay?”

Why I Started All Clear

I started thinking about All Clear after seeing how difficult it can be for families to balance independence and safety as parents get older.

Most existing solutions felt intrusive, easy to forget, or dependent on someone pressing a button during an emergency.

I became interested in whether a quieter, more passive approach could help families feel more supported while still respecting privacy and independence.

Right now, All Clear is in its early research and development stage, and I’m looking to learn directly from caregivers, families, and older adults.
